Learn how Twin Tail Creations' Firmness Sample Set helps you choose the right soft, medium, or firm fantasy toy without guessing.
Quick answer
Start with the Firmness Sample Set if you are unsure which silicone feel you prefer. It lets you handle Soft, Medium, and Firm disks at home, and includes a $20 discount toward a custom order.
Why not just guess?
Fantasy toy firmness affects comfort, sensation, and how a toy performs. Soft silicone bends easily and feels plush, while Firm holds its shape for more pressure. Without touching samples, you rely on descriptions that may not match your expectations.
A sample set removes the guesswork. You can squeeze, bend, and compare the three standard firmnesses side by side. This is especially useful if you are new to fantasy toys or switching to a different brand.
What the set includes
The Firmness Sample Set contains three Sample Disks in Soft, Medium, and Firm. They are made from the same platinum silicone used in Twin Tail Creations' full-size toys, so the feel is identical to what you would receive in a custom order.
Important limitation
The Sample Disks are flat and smaller than a full toy. They show you the material's squish and rebound but cannot replicate the full-body flex of a larger model. Use them to narrow down your preference, then consider reviews or community feedback for specific toy shapes.
How to decide which firmness fits you
- If you want the gentlest, most flexible feel: Choose Soft. It compresses easily and bends with little effort. Best for warm-up, textured toys, or if you have sensitivity concerns.
- If you want a balanced feel with some give: Choose Medium. It offers a middle ground: firm enough to hold shape but soft enough to be comfortable. Most versatile for general use.
- If you want maximum pressure and structure: Choose Firm. It holds its shape firmly and provides the most direct sensation. Ideal for experienced users or when you need precise control.
